LACHLAN VALLEY RAILWAY HERITAGE CENTRE COWRA

Set within the grounds of the former Cowra Locomotive Depot and Centred on the 1923 Roundhouse, the Museum is home to a large collection of Steam and Diesel Locomotives, Rail Cars and Passenger Carriages, plus Freight and Track Maintenance Vehicles dating from the 1800’s. Heritage buildings from the steam age when over 100 men worked at the depot are also displayed.

In the gardens is a War Memorial to fallen railway men erected by their workmates.

The centre is open 9.00am to 5.00pm every day. Coach groups are welcome by arrangement with guided tours included.
