Situated on a headland overlooking the impressive volcanic plug, the Nut, and the picturesque village of Stanley is Highfield Historic Site.
The architecturally significant house and surrounding farm buildings are the physical remnants of a saga of human ambition, hardship and persistence in the face of terrible odds. This is the story of either enterprise or folly, success or tragedy. You decide!
Open daily 9.30am - 4.30pm, except Christmas Day when we are closed.
