SISTERS OF MERCY CONVENT
The Singleton Sisters of Mercy have been on this site since 1875. The convent has become known as a beautiful and unique 'living heritage site', open for guided tours, concerts, weddings, workshops, room hire and other activities. The convent is set in spacious gardens, creating a unique atmosphere of peace. Gracious buildings date from the mid nineteenth century, and display remarkable architectural beauty. Guided tours tell the story of the Sisters and the convent, while the magnificent Sisters' Chapel is the highlight of any tour.
