THE CONVENT DAYLESFORD
A visit to The Convent is a must. This is Daylesfords most iconic building - once the Gold Commissioners home, then home to the Holy Cross nuns. Left derelict in the 1970's, the building was lovingly renovated and is now an award winning gallery. The historic building houses seven individual gallery spaces, a museum, restored original chapel, gift shop and a cafe, set amongst six acres of beautiful gardens.
