BONEGILLA MIGRANT EXPERIENCE



 

With National Heritage listing, Block 19 Bonegilla was originally an army camp during World War 2, the site later served as Australia’s largest and longest-operating migrant centre. Today visitors can explore the site with an interactive trail, investigate their family connection and obtain an intimate glimpse into the hopes and dreams of Australia’s post-war migrants.

 

Open daily from 10am to 4pm. Closed Good Friday, Anzac Day and Christmas Day.

Admission is free.

Guided tours available by appointment. Cost: $12 per adult, $9 children under 16. Minimum fee for groups of 15 or less is $158.
